~Soft-Serve Banana Ice Cream~
Let me start off by saying if you’re not a banana fan, still give this one a try. It has a hint of banana and the creamy texture will make you think you’re eating ice cream.
Ingredients & Instructions:
1) You’ll want to peel the bananas, place them in a zip-lock freezer bag, and freeze for at least two hours (this is perfect for those over ripped bananas your kids refuse to eat, plus bananas get sweeter as they ripen).
2) You need a good quality, high powered blender (approx. 400+ watts) or food processor in order to get them extra creamy. I use a Ninja Master Prep food chopper and it works great. It generally takes 1-2 solid minutes to get it fully creamed.
3) One medium sized banana is a good portion per person. Add approx. 2-3 tsp of water and for extra flavor, add 1/2 tea of pure vanilla extract and a good dash of cinnamon.
4) Blend until completely smooth. This is best when eaten right away. I tried freezing it for later and the texture does change a bit.
Sprinkle some cinnamon on top and enjoy every bite!
A yummy treat for big and little tummies alike.
