Dear Ladies,
It has been the time for visitors these past two months – but we love it! We enjoyed visits from Garry & Michelle Castner and family in April and Tom & Krinny Gaudet and their daughter Lisa Johnson in May. It was a blessing to our family to share our home, ministry, friends, and this country where we live. We had the fun privilege of taking each family on a quick trip to Kruger National Park, and a trip to the Blyde River Canyon as well.

Aside from running a bed and breakfast, we’ve been buckling down on the school work to finish up before the next school year! Sound familiar? The children are growing up way too fast. Joel is eager to start 2nd grade. Anna is reading. Luke is talking! George will celebrate a birthday in a few days. He is a wonderful husband and father and my closest friend. Just today, while I was busy tending to 3 sick kids, he surprised me by putting on a pot of chili early, for dinner, before he left for an afternoon Bible Study! Hopefully the kids and I can make it a special day for him. I’m sure it will include his annual request: a German Chocolate Cheesecake. 🙂
We rejoice in seeing God at work here in the different villages. Right now we are in 4 different places weekly. There have been many direct answers to prayer. God is at work. Just recently, a dear lady trusting Christ as her Savior in one of these villages. Please pray for Festa as she shared with us on Sunday that she is making things right with her neighbors and is concerned about having a Bible teaching church to attend. I am constantly amazed at the opportunities that are all around us, when we’re looking. Our detours and steps are ordered by the Lord. God is at work in the heart of everyone you and I meet, because He is not willing that any should perish.
Love, Kristin Hammett
